Tyler Plumeri, 31, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2025. Born on April 12, 1994, Tyler was a bright, hardworking professional who left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
A 2016 graduate of the University of Louisville, Tyler earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He quickly found his niche as an Account Executive at Waystar, where colleagues remember him for his ability to forge genuine connections, his tireless dedication to clients, and his infectious energy.
Beyond his sales prowess, Tyler was always the first to lend a helping hand, whether training new team members or staying late to ensure work was done right.
His charisma extended well beyond the workplace. Tyler had a true passion for sports—he could often be found cheering on the Cardinals or playing pick-up basketball with friends at local courts. He loved live concerts and weekend getaway trips around Kentucky, always seeking moments that fueled his zest for life. Family was at the center of everything he did.
Tyler cherished Sunday dinners with his parents and siblings, where stories and laughter flowed freely.
More than his professional success and vibrant social life, Tyler had a heart of gold. He volunteered at a local youth mentorship program, helping underserved teens build confidence and life skills. A celebration of Tyler’s life will be held at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, located at 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY 40205. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6:30 p.m.
A private interment will be held later. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Tyler’s memory to the local youth mentorship organization he helped support.
Tyler’s life, though too short, was bursting with meaning. He dedicated himself to the pursuit of excellence in his career, the cultivation of genuine relationships, and the making of his community a better place.
