It is with profound sadness that the family of Joshual Kibby announces his passing on Friday, July 18, 2025, in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. Born on July 5, 1978, in Tucson, Arizona, Joshual was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was 47 years old.
A proud and honorable veteran, Joshual served in the United States Navy, stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. Those who knew him speak of his calm demeanor, strong sense of duty, and unwavering integrity — qualities that marked both his military service and his civilian life.
Joshual’s greatest joy in life was his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mamie, who stood by him through thick and thin, and by his children — Skylar (with fiancé Devon), Alyssa (with fiancé Michael Sota), Travis (with fiancé Dru), and Gavin Kibby's. Two grandchildren, Makenna and Grayson, also blessed his life and brightened his days.
Family meant everything to Joshual, and he was supported throughout his life by his mother, Rhonda Seymour (née Pennington), and his late father, Joe Steven Kibby. He is further survived by his brothers Kyle Kibby and Christopher Seymour, as well as his sister Kate Kibby (and her partner Lucy). His family circle was completed by loving step-parents — Ron Seymour and Freda Kibby— and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended relatives who all cherished him.
Those who met Joshual described him as a reserved, kind-hearted soul who avoided confrontation yet lived with quiet strength and unassuming leadership. He was always the one who put others first, especially his grandchildren, and his gentle presence brought comfort and stability to countless lives.
