Carl Patrick Noonan, New Stanton, PA - Obituary - Death News - Carl Patrick Noonan, Passed Away Following A Tragic incident On 20, 2025,

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Carl Patrick Noonan, 71, of New Stanton, Pennsylvania, who succumbed on Friday, July 18, 2025, at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, following injuries sustained in a tragic morning crash in New Stanton.

Born in approximately 1953, Carl lived a lifetime deeply rooted in Western Pennsylvania. Though his exact hometown is not specified, he was known as a steadfast and reliable man.

A devoted family man, Carl took immense pride in providing for and caring for his loved ones. Over the years, he built a reputation among neighbors and colleagues for his unwavering honesty, gentle demeanor, and willingness to help at a moment’s notice.

On the morning of Thursday, July 17, Carl was driving his tri-axle truck near the intersection where Route 119 becomes Route 66 in New Stanton. According to fire officials, his vehicle crashed on the bridge spanning Interstate 70, spilling diesel fuel and igniting a fire that consumed the truck’s cab.

Emergency responders extinguished the blaze and rescued Carl, rushing him to UPMC Mercy with severe injuries. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Carl passed away the following day.

Carl’s life was marked by simple yet profound virtues: kindness, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to family. He was the kind of person who, without fanfare, showed up when needed—whether helping a neighbor fix a tire, offering advice to a young coworker, or quietly supporting community efforts. His calm presence and steady reassurance brought comfort to many.

Friends recall Carl’s practical humor and the warmth in his laughter. He was the source of wise counsel and encouragement, fostering trust and camaraderie wherever he went.

Though modest about his own achievements, he took great pride in the achievements of his children and grandchildren and celebrated every milestone with affection and enthusiasm.

Carl is survived by his spouse, children, grandchildren, and a wide circle of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and possibly one sibling, though exact family details remain private.

Funeral arrangements are pending finalization. Specifics regarding visitation and the memorial service will be shared once confirmed. The family welcomes friends, neighbors, and community members to gather in a time of remembrance, to share stories of Carl’s kindness, laughter, and commitment.

The family requests that donations be made in Carl’s name to the charity of your choice or to local first responders, who bravely confronted the fiery crash. A small ceremony is also planned to honor the firefighters and paramedics whose efforts exemplified Carl’s spirit of service.

Carl Patrick Noonan was a man of quiet strength—someone who led by example and lived humbly, yet impacted those around him deeply. His sudden departure after a life well-lived leaves a void in the hearts of many. We will remember his warm smile, reassuring presence, and the sense of community he nourished.

May he rest in peace, and may his loved ones find comfort in shared memories and lasting legacies.

Although initial reports mentioned only Thursday’s crash, Carl ultimately passed on Friday afternoon, July 18, 2025, in the hospital.

Our deepest condolences to Carl’s family and all who knew him.
