Randy Everette Kidd, age 59, passed away peacefully at his home on January 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and quiet strength that will be remembered by all who knew him. 

Randy’s life was defined not by grand gestures, but by the steady and sincere way he showed up for others always ready to lend a hand, fix what was broken, or offer reassurance during difficult moments.

Born on February 6, 1966, in Lincoln County, Randy grew up with strong family values that shaped the man he became. From an early age, he developed a natural aptitude for working with his hands. 

Over the years, his handyman skills became well known among friends, neighbors, and family members, many of whom relied on him not only for repairs but for his calm presence and problem-solving spirit. 

Randy never hesitated to help, often putting the needs of others before his own, and he did so without expecting recognition or reward.

Those closest to Randy remember him as dependable, warm-hearted, and genuine. He had a way of making people feel comfortable, whether through conversation, shared laughter, or simply being there when it mattered most. 

His generosity extended beyond physical help Randy was known for listening without judgment and offering support during times of hardship. In moments of need, many found comfort in knowing that Randy would show up, tools in hand and kindness in his heart.

Randy is survived by his loving mother, Mae Frances Middleton Johnson, who remained an important presence throughout his life. He also leaves behind his son, Rance Eddie Cole Kidd, of whom he was deeply proud.

 Randy’s role as a father was one he cherished, and his love for his son was evident in his words, actions, and unwavering support. In addition, he is survived by several siblings, extended family members, and a wide circle of friends who will continue to honor his memory.

A public visitation will be held on January 6, 2026, allowing friends, family, and community members to gather and pay their respects. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home, where Randy’s life and legacy will be formally celebrated. These services provide an opportunity for loved ones to reflect on the many ways Randy touched their lives and to find comfort in shared remembrance.

Randy Everette Kidd will be remembered as a man who gave freely of his time, talents, and compassion. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit lives on through the countless lives he helped and the love he shared.
