Donald Wilson Price, 77, of Glasgow, Passes Away Surrounded by Family

Donald Wilson Price, 77, of Glasgow, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 21, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. A lifelong resident of the area, Don was born on February 18, 1948, in Barren County to the late Roy and Nina Turner Price.

His life was defined by service to his country, his community, and his family and by a quiet strength that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Don was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served his country honorably during the Vietnam conflict. His military service was a source of deep pride throughout his life, shaping his sense of duty and commitment to others.

Even after returning home, Don continued to support fellow veterans, understanding firsthand the sacrifices they made.

He later served as an officer with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), where he devoted countless hours helping veterans navigate benefits, access resources, and find support during difficult times. His compassion and dedication made a meaningful difference in the lives of many.

Professionally, Don was a skilled tool and die maker, retiring from Dana after many years of dedicated service. Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, he took pride in his craft and in providing for his family.

Retirement did not slow him down; instead, it allowed him to spend more time giving back, supporting veterans’ causes, and enjoying time with those he loved most.

At the center of Don’s life was his family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Faye Jackson Price, whose partnership and devotion were the foundation of his life.

Together, they built a home filled with love, resilience, and shared values. He also leaves behind three children:

Melissa Stahl (JR), Erik Price (Jamie), and Andrea Price Thompson. Don was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren—Nicole Pedigo (O’Brien), Lindsey McReynolds (Seth), Wyatt Price (Kayleigh), Dylan Moore, Mattie Price, Price Thompson, Lane Thompson, and Ava Price and a cherished great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren:

Elly Pedigo, Evan Pedigo, Annie McReynolds, Everly Pedigo, Reed McReynolds, and Woodson Price. He is also survived by his brother, Danny Price (Kim), along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Price Love.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to T. J. Samson Hospice for their compassionate care, as well as to caregivers Patsy Tuck, Pam Steele, and sister-in-law Deborah Depp for their kindness and support.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors, provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV, will follow in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any veteran’s organization, continuing Don’s lifelong commitment to those who served.
