Jennie Lee Stringer, age 64, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, at Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

Born in Parkersburg, Jennie spent her life rooted in the values, warmth, and traditions that shaped her from childhood.

Those who knew her remember a woman whose heart was grounded in family, faith, and the simple but profound acts of love that defined her days.

She approached life with humility and quiet strength, offering kindness freely and nurturing relationships that lasted through the years.

A devoted homemaker, Jennie dedicated herself to creating a home filled with comfort, stability, and affection. Her life’s greatest joy was caring for the people she held closest her husband, Robert James Stringer, their three children, and her seven cherished grandchildren.

Whether preparing a meal, listening with patience, or offering words of encouragement in challenging moments, Jennie cultivated a space where each member of her family felt supported and understood. Her home was more than a place; it was a refuge shaped by her gentle presence and unwavering devotion.

Jennie’s nurturing spirit extended beyond the walls of her home. She was known for maintaining strong ties with relatives, friends, and neighbors, often keeping in touch through thoughtful calls, handwritten notes, or shared visits that brightened ordinary days.

Her ability to stay connected was one of her most admired qualities. She carried with her a deep respect for the people who enriched her life, and she made a point to show that appreciation in big and small ways. Her warm laugh, her willingness to listen, and her natural compassion left lasting impressions on all who spent time with her.

Though Jennie preferred a quiet life, her influence reached far into the hearts of those who loved her. She modeled resilience through life’s inevitable challenges and gratitude during its sweetest moments.

Her grandchildren, who were a constant source of delight to her, will forever remember the comfort of her hugs, her patient guidance, and the gentle pride she took in each of their accomplishments. Her children remain deeply grateful for the values she instilled kindness, humility, and the importance of caring for others.

As her family now faces the sorrow of her passing, they find comfort in the memories she leaves behind and the enduring legacy of love she created.

Jennie’s presence will continue to be felt in the traditions she nurtured, the relationships she strengthened, and the countless expressions of generosity she offered throughout her life.

In accordance with her family’s wishes, a private gathering will be held to honor Jennie’s memory and celebrate the profound impact she made on those around her.
