His hospitalization stems from injuries sustained shortly after the shooting, when the moped he was riding reportedly collided with another vehicle as he and his accomplice attempted to flee the scene.
According to investigators, Green was riding as a passenger on the back of the moped when the attack occurred. Police allege that he produced a firearm and opened fire toward a group of people gathered on a Brooklyn sidewalk, an act that ultimately resulted in devastating consequences.
