The Laurens Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Ricky Robinson Jr., a 54-year-old African American man who has been reported missing. According to authorities, Ricky was last seen on or around October 28, 2025, in the area of the Green Street Mini Mart in Laurens, South Carolina

His family and friends have grown increasingly worried as several days have passed without any word from him.

When Ricky was last seen, he was wearing blue jeansblue or grey shoes, a black zip-up jacket, and a baseball cap

He is also known to walk with a brown cane, which could help people identify him if he is spotted. 

Loved ones describe Ricky as a kind and familiar face in the community, often seen around local shops and neighborhoods. 

His sudden disappearance has caused deep concern for his safety and well-being.

The missing person case was formally reported to the Laurens Police Department on November 3, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Since receiving the report, officers have been following up on leads, checking surveillance footage from nearby businesses, and speaking with residents who may have seen Ricky in recent days.

However, despite these efforts, his exact whereabouts remain unknown.

Family members describe Ricky as a caring person who usually keeps in touch regularly.
