John G Spray Jr., Louisville, KY - Obituary - John G Spray Jr., Louisville, KY - Death News - John G Spray Jr., Louisville, KY, Has Tragically Passed Away on November 4, 2025, As A Result of An Unfortunate Incident

John was a man defined by his larger-than-life personality and his generous, caring spirit. At 45 years old he lived with a vibrant enthusiasm that drew people toward him.

Friends and family often speak of his infectious laughter, his readiness to offer a helping hand, and how he made the ordinary extraordinary.

Whether it was giving his time when someone needed support, showing up unexpectedly with a kind gesture, or simply listening when someone needed to talk  John embodied a selfless, genuine kindness.

At the centre of his world were his daughters Heaven Spray and Kaylee Christophel  whom he loved and adored with every fibre of his being.

To them he was not just a father but a guiding light, a source of strength, encouragement and unconditional love.

He delighted in their successes, comforted them in their struggles, and celebrated the uniqueness of each of them.

Through his love for his girls, his identity as a father shone brightly, and those memories will remain a precious legacy for them always.

Though John’s life was cut short in a tragic incident his passing resulting from the crash of a cargo aircraft operated by UPS Airlines on November 4, 2025  his impact on those around him resonates far beyond the circumstances of his death.

The shock of such a sudden departure only underscores the love and warmth he brought into every interaction.

In this difficult time, the Spray family is coming together to celebrate John’s life, to honour his memory and to lean on one another for comfort and strength.

In remembering John, we not only mourn his absence but also commit to carry forward the spirit he fostered  the spirit of generosity, of connection, of living fully and kindly.

To the family, friends, and to Heaven and Kaylee: May you find solace in each other and in the countless memories of laughter, shared moments and thoughtful acts John gave so freely.

May you feel his spirit in the light of a new day, in the gentle kindness you pass on, and in the love that surrounds you now.

John left a legacy not of material possessions, but of how he made people feel: seen, valued, cared for.

That legacy lives on in his daughters, in the lives of his friends, in small acts of kindness and in the echo of his laughter.

As you move forward into this next chapter, may you be sustained by the knowledge that his life mattered, and that his influence continues.

My thoughts are with the Spray family during these heavy days.

If you’d like help with gathering memories, writing a memorial piece or creating a tribute for John, I would be honoured to assist.
