Norristown, PA A homicide investigation is underway after 38-year-old Eric King, of Conshohocken, was found fatally wounded in a car crash on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
According to Montgomery County authorities, King was discovered inside his vehicle after it collided with a utility pole. Emergency responders found him bleeding from a single stab wound; he was transported to a nearby hospital but later pronounced dead.
The incident unfolded around 2 p.m. at 806 DeKalb Street in Norristown. Prior to the crash, investigators say King had been involved in a “verbal and physical dispute” with a woman he knew at the DeKalb Street address.
She has since been interviewed by police, but as of the latest reports, no arrests or chargeshave been made.
In a press release, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and the Norristown Police confirmed that they are jointly investigating the death as a homicide.
The District Attorney, Kevin R. Steele, underscored that the case remains under active review.
King, who resided in Conshohocken, was described in media reports as having been driving alone when his car struck the pole at the intersection of Jacoby and Green Streets.
