Kelly’s life was filled with purpose and devotion to those she loved.
She was the proud and loving mother of Alice Brumley, who was her greatest joy and inspiration.
Known for her nurturing spirit, Kelly poured her heart into motherhood, always striving to provide Alice with a life filled with warmth, encouragement, and faith.
Her role as a mother was the foundation of her life, and she approached it with tenderness, patience, and boundless love.
Alongside her devotion to family, Kelly was a woman of faith and service.
She was a cherished member of Fairview Baptist Church, where she actively participated in worship and community outreach, sharing her compassion with those in need.

Kelly also dedicated time to the Brindle Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, where she supported the mission of helping and protecting others.

In addition to Clarence and Alice, Kelly is survived by her loving mother, Lois Poynter Barnett, as well as several other beloved family members, all of whom will miss her deeply.

A funeral service to honor Kelly’s life will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Reppert Funeral Home in Berea, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
