It is with heavy hearts that the community of Charlotte mourns the loss of Joshua Sinclair LDM, who passed away on August 8, 2025, at just 13 years old. 

His departure at such a young age has left family, friends, and neighbors in profound grief, yet his memory continues to shine brightly through the kindness and love he shared during his short but meaningful life.

Joshua was more than a child; he was a beacon of generosity, compassion, and selflessness. 

Even at a tender age, he demonstrated wisdom and maturity beyond his years. 

Perhaps the most touching example of his spirit was his decision to forgo receiving birthday gifts, instead asking those around him to donate to the Special Olympics. 

This remarkable act of thoughtfulness reflected not only his empathy for others but also his genuine commitment to making the world a better place, even in small but impactful ways.

Those who knew Joshua remember him for his warm smile, gentle nature, and the lighthearted joy he brought into every room he entered. 

Friends recall his laughter, his willingness to help others, and his natural ability to lift the spirits of those around him. 

Whether spending time with classmates, enjoying moments with family, or expressing his creativity, Joshua carried with him a contagious positivity that left lasting impressions.

He is survived by his devoted parents, Seslie Sinclair and Marcus Robinson, who will forever treasure their son’s memory, along with his siblings and grandparents, who each played a special role in his life.

To his family, Joshua was not only a beloved child and sibling but also a source of immense pride and inspiration. 

The love he shared with them, and the love he received in return, will remain an unbreakable bond.

The community will gather to celebrate Joshua’s life on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the Alexander Funeral Home. 

Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, giving loved ones the chance to pay their respects and share their memories, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.

These services will serve not only as an opportunity to grieve but also as a time to honor the remarkable spirit of a boy who touched countless hearts.

While the sorrow of losing Joshua is profound, his legacy of kindness offers a reminder of the importance of compassion and generosity in everyday life. 

He leaves behind an example of what it means to live selflessly, and his story will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

In the midst of this painful loss, the Sinclair and Robinson families have expressed their deep gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from friends, neighbors, and the wider community. 

It is through this collective strength and shared memory that they will continue to carry Joshua’s light forward.
