It is with a heavy heart that the community announces the passing of Emily Kim Foster, who left this world on July 31, 2025, at the young age of 35.

Emily’s sudden departure has left an indelible void in the lives of her loved ones, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She is remembered for her radiant spirit, quiet strength, and unwavering kindness.

Emily was a devoted wife to her husband Steve Foster, and a nurturing, joyful mother to their two beloved daughters, Madelyn and Lillian. Her love for her family was the heartbeat of her life.

Whether it was reading bedtime stories, planning birthday celebrations, or simply being present for every moment, Emily poured her soul into raising her girls with compassion, laughter, and gentle wisdom.

She was the kind of mother who made everyday moments magical.

Born and raised in Connecticut, Emily was the treasured daughter of William and Cheryl Siegmann. From an early age, she was known for her empathy, creativity, and infectious energy.

She carried those same traits into adulthood, where they shaped her relationships and her approach to life.

Emily was also dearly loved by her grandmother, Doreen Fay, who played a formative role in her upbringing and remained a close presence throughout her life.

Emily’s impact extended well beyond her immediate family. She was a beloved friend, trusted confidante, and dependable presence in the lives of many.

Whether it was a spontaneous coffee date, a thoughtful message during tough times, or lending a helping hand without being asked, Emily had an instinct for knowing how to care for others.

Her warmth was quiet but powerful she had a gift for making people feel seen and valued.

Professionally, Emily was admired for her dedication and poise.

Though she often avoided the spotlight, her contributions were always felt steadily and meaningfully.

Colleagues respected her for her work ethic, insight, and collaborative nature. She brought grace and patience to every endeavor, setting an example of humility and integrity.

In her free time, Emily found joy in the simple things: baking with her daughters, gardening, family hikes, and curling up with a good book.

She had a particular love for local arts and crafts, often supporting community artists and sharing her finds with friends.

Her laughter, especially when surrounded by loved ones, was infectious and unforgettable.

A visitation will be held on August 10, 2025, where friends and family can come together to offer condolences, share stories, and honor Emily’s memory.

This will be followed by a celebration of life, where the focus will be not on mourning her death, but on remembering the beauty, love, and light she brought into the world.

Emily’s absence is deeply felt, but her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched. Her life, though far too short, was full of meaning, connection, and love.

In honoring her memory, may we all strive to live with a little more kindness, just as she did every day.
