The community of  Campbell River is deeply saddened to announce the passing of  Drew McEachren on August 19, 2025, a man remembered for his remarkable talents, his hardworking spirit, and the deep love he held for his family.

Known as one of Campbell River’s finest, Drew earned the respect and admiration of many through his diverse talents. 

He worked as a commercial fisherman, logger, and builder of aluminum boats, each role demanding immense skill and commitment. 

Drew excelled in every one of them, not simply as a means of making a living, but as a way of leaving behind tangible contributions that reflected his passion and perseverance. 

Whether on the waters, in the forests, or at the workshop, Drew’s work stood as a testament to his dedication and ability to thrive in demanding environments. 

His craftsmanship and work ethic left an impression on all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Beyond his many skills and professional endeavors, Drew’s heart belonged to his family. 

He is survived by his beloved soulmate, Mallory, with whom he shared a relationship filled with love, loyalty, and companionship. 

Together, they built a life centered on love and devotion, one that was brightened even more with the arrival of their child, Davan. 

To Drew, being a father was one of life’s greatest blessings, and his bond with Davan brought him immense pride and joy.
